What did I bake today? Cranberry ecstasy bars (aka Starbuck's Cranberry Bliss Bars).

We eat these for breakfast, lunch & dinner. They are that good.

Bake Sale for Mandy Lathim

Hi friends! I can't believe I haven't updated this site since March. Not good.

Today I've been baking & packaging cookies for a bake sale for Mandy Lathim. Mandy is a local teenager who was in a horrific car accident last week. Her family/friends/community are holding a bake/garage sale to raise money for her rising medical bills.

I don't know Mandy, but her story was so heartbreaking, I felt the need to help out with the bake sale.

I made 5 dozen chocolate with vanilla chips & 3 dozen stamped shortbread.

I baked & assembled this cake yesterday for my friend Kumiko's birthday. It was so fun to make. Thanks to Noble Pig for the inspiration!

 What do you do with leftover cake batter? Make cupcakes! I love the blue/white contrast.

I baked for my canine friends today: peanut butter & pumpkin dog treats.

Remy was extremely happy!☺
